Jones Day has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Attorney Recruiting Manager to join the Dallas office. Jones Day is a global law firm with 43 offices and more than 2,500 lawyers worldwide.
The Recruiting Manager will be primarily responsible for (1) preparation, implementation and execution of the summer associate program (2) preparation, implementation and execution of law school recruiting programs (3) support Dallas office lateral attorney recruiting efforts (4) support of the Dallas office Diversity, Inclusion & Advancement Committee (6) support the “New Lawyers Group” program, and (7) fulfill other special projects as necessary. The Recruiting Manager will work closely with the Office Hiring Partner, Office Administration, others in leadership positions within the Dallas office, and the Firm Director of Recruiting.
The Recruiting Manager is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to Firm lawyers, lawyer candidates and law school/placement personnel, producing quality work products and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Above all, the Recruiting Manager must fulfill the needs of the office in a manner which is consistent with the Firm's visions and values.

Four-year college degree
Minimum of two years legal recruiting experience in a law firm or other professional services firm
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Possess a professional and service oriented demeanor
Ability to be a “team player” while working independently as well as collaboratively with various teams, departments and offices
Ability and desire to build relationships within the organization and externally within the industry
Ability to establish effective working relationships within the department, Office and Firm, as well as vendors and others outside the Firm
Experience using/exposure to web-based databases and data reporting; knowledge of viRecruit applicant tracking, work allocation, and reporting systems preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Flexibility to work overtime, especially during peak recruiting periods
Fluency in English is required
