Schiff Hardin LLP, a general practice law firm with over 300 attorneys nationally, is seeking a dynamic Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator or Legal Recruitment Manager for our attorney recruiting group. This is a highly visible role responsible for managing the law student recruitment program firm-wide, including on-campus interviewing, the summer associate program, and developing and implementing the firm’s attorney integration and mentoring programs.
The position requires superior interpersonal skills, responsiveness, good judgment, a professional demeanor, and the ability to perform at a high-level in a fast paced environment. The ideal applicant will excel at interacting with diverse groups and have demonstrated experience handling highly detailed work processes with accuracy, both in team settings and individually.

A Bachelors’ degree, strong academic record and strong writing and oral communication skills are required. Experience with recruiting, including on-campus interviewing, and event planning in a law firm setting, or similar recruiting experience in another professional industry is preferred. Experience in a manager-level position is preferred, but not required and we are willing to consider candidates with strong recruiting experience who are looking for a position that would allow them to grown into a manager-level positon.
Additional qualifications include demonstrated project management skills, creative thinking and problem-solving, attention to streamlining processes to increase efficiency, and proficiency in document management systems, viRecruit (or other applicant tracking software), MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
