Robinson & Cole LLP, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with at least three years of complex commercial litigation experience to join the Business Litigation Practice Group in its Hartford, CT or Stamford, CT office. In addition, the ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in life, health, and disability insurance and ERISA litigation, as well as experience with first-party bad faith claims. The successful candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility, including drafting of briefs on critical motions, management of discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, and court appearances.
Superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, large-firm or equivalent experience, and admission to the Connecticut bar required. Law review experience and/or judicial clerkship experience are a plus.
