Womble Bond Dickinson, an AmLaw 100 law firm, seeks an experienced Attorney Recruiting Manager to be located in the Washington, DC, Charlotte, NC, or Boston, MA office. This position will lead lateral associate and staff attorney hiring efforts across the Firm’s domestic offices. The manager will work closely with firm leadership to identify, interview, and hire attorney candidates. The manager will serve as a conduit of information, ensure completion of all aspects of the recruiting process, including development of a business plan and conducting financial analysis. Preferred candidates will have direct experience with the management of lateral hiring in the professional services industry or ideally in a large law firm.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Solid understanding of business analysis and financial reports
Effective written and oral communication skills, including proficiency in delivering presentations and use of social media for sourcing candidates
Experience with negotiating search firm contracts and offer letters
Excellent client service mentality
Team player who is self-motivated to accomplish business goals
Attention to detail
Advanced technology skills with Microsoft office and knowledge of extranets and/or databases
Strong planning and organizational talent
Travel, as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Public Relations, Human Resources or related field, with five (5) years of recruiting experience required.
