Our Firmwide Practice Applications department has an excellent opportunity in the Cleveland office for a SharePoint Developer with a strong focus on front-end web design. In this role, you will own the design, development, implementation and support of custom SharePoint solutions. Successful candidates can multi-task, find creative solutions to difficult problems, and collaborate effectively with other developers. The main responsibilities are:
Shared support and administration of multiple SharePoint farms.
Suggest and implement improvements to highly customized SharePoint environments.
Strong focus on user experience and web design.
Strong client focus and ability to manage expectations.
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Ability to understand relational databases and database access and retrieval techniques.
Ability to quickly prototype ideas.
Ability to learn new programming languages as required by management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field and 3-5 years of experience; equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for education requirement. Professional services experience highly desirable.
Ability to speak effectively with all levels of clients and professional and support staff and interpersonal communication skills necessary to maintain effective relationships with partners, attorneys, clients and staff and to exhibit a high degree of responsiveness, diplomacy and professionalism in these interactions.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from all levels of professional and support staff, clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts with an audience.
