Position: Salesforce seeks an experienced government contracts attorney for the role of Senior Director, Legal, to support its rapidly expanding Public Sector business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Salesforce's U.S. and Canada Public Sector Sales and Professional Services organizations in structuring transactions and drafting and negotiating commercial item contracts with federal, state and local government entities. The individual will manage one or more legal professionals, interact with senior executives, and be responsible for ensuring that transactions within the Public Sector vertical are completed in a customer-centric, timely and transparent manner.
Experience: The successful candidate will have 15+ years of experience with government contracts law (including FAR, DFARS, federal procurement and compliance statutes and regulations, and state/local procurement statutes), and negotiating/drafting commercial agreements with federal, state and local public sector organizations. In-house experience is required, as is experience managing legal professionals.
