The selected candidate will provide additional legal support and coordination of services for the School of Law's medical legal partnership known as CHAMPS (Carolina Health Advocacy Medico/legal PartnerShip). S/He will represent low-income clients referred to CHAMPS from Palmetto Health and Palmetto Health-USC Medical group. The Advertised Minimum Salary of $59,100 is based upon a 40 hour week. This position is part time, with the expected workweek to be between 20 and 30 hours, subject to mutual agreement between employee and employer. This grant-funded position is funded for one year.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Juris Doctorate degree required. Must be a member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar. Must have at least five years of relevant legal experience.
