If so, our practice is offering a position for a Practice Administrator with a sound understanding of financial management, practice operations, and a track record of employee coaching and development.
Our practice features a nationally recognized physician, along with his team of clinicians, including a general dermatologist, dermatolopathologist, certified nurse practitioner, certified aesthetician, and a support team. The practice also incorporates AAASF Surgical Suites and Dermatopathology Lab, Located just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, the practice serves patients located in the Atlanta metro, southwest Georgia and east Alabama areas. Residents enjoy the conveniences of a large metropolitan area while living in an area with a small-town feel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum seven years' experience in private practice medical management; medical aesthetics experience preferred.
Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or similar required. Master's in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Human Resources certification or leadership training preferred.
Demonstrate knowledge of business growth and the ability to combine multiple practice sites under one umbrella network.
Strong financial background with previous experience in physician offices, including retail product inventory management, physician office billing systems, accounts payable, general ledger, and budgeting.
Demonstrable experience in personnel management and administration of payroll systems.
Knowledge of MIPS, Macra and EMR (EMA- Moderizing Medicineâ„¢)
In-depth knowledge of compliance, personnel law, workplace safety, and other regulatory issues pertaining to a medical practice and retail cosmetics.
In-depth knowledge of practice operations, including patient counseling, marketing, and office efficiency.

About the Position: The Practice Administrator works in conjunction with the Physician Owner(s) and Executive Director in overseeing administrative, financial, human resource, and developmental activities of the practice.
Department: Administration Reports To: Physician Owner and Executive Director
Maintains Practice Metrics spreadsheet tracking key performance indicators
Creates and reviews monthly financial reports to review with Executive Director, including but not limited to balance sheet, Profit and Loss statement, provider productivity, and benchmarks for medical aesthetic practices.
Completes financial package for physician owner and Executive Director review within 15 days of the end of the previous month.
Provides direct or indirect approval of all practice expenditures, and works with the physician owner and Executive Director to appropriately manage operational expenses.
Maintains a cash management system to provide adequate internal controls to protect the practice from internal theft or embezzlement.
Participates in the business's annual financial benchmarking analysis and helps determine strengths and weaknesses. Develops a plan to improve any areas that may need to be addressed.
Acts as the practice's liaison with the attorney and Executive Director and manages provider employment contracts.
Calculates and distributes provider bonus compensation based on productivity.
Oversees the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations and accurately provides timely status updates to Executive Director and Physician Owner.
Maintains an efficient purchasing system for retail products as well as medical and office supplies.
Monitors the billing and collection process of insurance patients to facilitate a healthy turnover of accounts receivables.
Supervises operations of the clinic and retail product sales, including financial planning, provider relations, and implementation of the strategic plan.
Maintains a strong focus on improving operational efficiency and the profitability of the organization.
Ensures team has adequate training to provide outstanding care to patients.
Completes periodic time studies to assess clinic flow and makes operational recommendations to improve practice efficiency.
Maintains an efficient inventory management system for cosmetic products and verifies that employees are managing system accurately.
Oversees clinical research activities to ensure studies are properly managed and reflect well upon the practice within industry and with patients.
Responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the practice.
Resolves escalated patient complaints and complex staffing challenges or issues.
Monitors and maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
Develops and supports a healthy team environment amongst the various departments.
Maintains employee files and ensures compliance with federal and state human resource regulations
Manages human resource functions for office including, but not limited to, employee reviews, wage/salary analysis, staff orientation and onboarding, Paid Time Off, employee health benefits, and staffing levels for clinic operations.
Regulatory and Compliance
Assures compliance with state and federal regulations governing the workplace.
Assures compliance with regulations, guidelines and standards of care set forth by state and federal agencies, licensing and accrediting boards, and professional societies governing the licensure, accreditation, and operation of medical practices and providers.
Manages all activities and recordkeeping necessary to maintain AAAASF certification.
Develops and maintains a system to provide continuing education and certifications for clinical providers.
Maintains oversight of practice facilities and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safekeeping.
