TheNational Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking an upcoming 2L or 3L law student as a summer 2018 law clerk (for school credit or for pay) to work in our D.C. headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about many cutting-edge legal issues affecting manufacturers and to learn about national policy issues with our staff of experts. The NAM offers a variety of challenging and rewarding internships in our Washington, DC headquarters. Internships are designed to support academic objectives with real life work experience. The NAM internships challenge students to enhance their legal skills.

Monitor and analyze current and potential litigation, write articles and summaries
Help coordinate case management
Support the work of attorneys in the Manufacturers’ Center for Legal Action (Issue areas include major substantive areas of law such as environmental, product liability, labor & employment, international trade, intellectual property, and administrative law)
We are looking for Interns who meet the Following Criteria:
Outstanding academic record
Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills
Organizational skills and project management skills
Some prior experience in a professional setting a plus but not required
