Position Summary: The Community Relations and Public Service Manager will be responsible for the cultivation, promotion, and program management of CEB's outreach and strategic partnerships, resulting in increased brand awareness, specifically targeting a few key groups: law students, new attorneys, bar associations and other affinity groups as well as increased dedication to public service. This position is expected to work independently on a variety of special projects assigned by the Go To Market Director or the Executive Director and other senior managers as needed.

Duty 1: Cultivate and maintain relationships and agreements with partner organizations to maximize CEB's exposure to target legal populations and increase CEB's commitment to public service.
Develop and implement a sustainable long-term model for the promotion and delivery of CEB outreach programs.
Continually identify new opportunities for collaboration with partners and foster innovative approaches to outreach.
Identify performance objectives for outreach activities, target audiences, and corresponding strategies and timelines for meeting objectives.
Collect and identify appropriate data to support CEB outreach. Analyze and compare current and historical data, and develop trends.
Develop, review, and report quarterly budgetary impacts of all outreach activities.
Develop strategy for social media engagement and administer accounts
Implement, manage, track and expand CEB's external engagement strategy with sponsors and community organizations
Recruit, hire, and manage CEB's Student Representatives at various law schools
Recruit, hire and manage Event Coordinator/Fundraiser, either temp or career, for special initiatives. Function:Outreach Cultivation Percent: 50
Duty 2: Implement, manage and expand cultivation strategies to connect and engage new customers for CEB, notably among the law school, young lawyer population.
Work in collaboration with senior staff to increase partnerships
Represent CEB in outreach meetings and conversations both internally and externally.
Make recommendations for and assist with the implementation of key programmatic outreach initiatives.
Support programmatic evaluations and long-range planning by providing broad based analyses and develop reports as required.
Maximize partnerships with State Bar, Local Bar, University of California and pro bono organization to promote CEB's resources and promote our public service mission
Attend, sponsor relevant law school, new attorney and legal community events and promote and represent CEB
Manage and expand CEB's award ceremonies, including the Spirit of CEB Award and the Writing and Research Award
Engage CEB staff in outreach activities. Educate CEB staff regarding the Outreach program and successes.
Manage and oversee fundraising for special initiatives sponsored or co-sponsored by CEB.
Manage and oversee CEB's public service initiatives engaging with CEB staff and members of the legal community to drive awareness of CEB's mission Function:Program Management Percent: 50
Job Requirements Bachelors degree. JD preferred.

Experience in supporting special and standing meetings, including organizing agendas and supporting materials, following through on new initiatives on behalf of the Dean and coordinating the physical and logistical arrangements for such events.
Demonstrated skills in providing excellent, consistent service to external and internal customers; respond to customer needs and expectations in a supportive and professional manner, with attention to promptness and a focus on solutions. Required
