The Recruiting Coordinator will receive a generous total compensation package. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance. As a Recruiting Coordinator at Latham, you will contribute your expertise to coordinating all activities and processes involved in campus recruiting throughout each recruiting season, while supporting Lateral Associate hiring. Your responsibilities as a Recruiting Coordinator will include assisting the Manager of Attorney Recruitment & Development with all phases of recruiting and development efforts for new attorneys, lateral hires, transfers, and summer associates while accomplishing these and other critical functions:
Develops relationships with Law Schools and Campus placement agencies.
Serves as Firm liaison to law school placement directors and other recruitment professionals.
Corresponds with incoming applicants to schedule interview dates and times, and coordinates information for applicant and interviewer.
Receives, routes, and forwards resumes for review by appropriate individuals and Recruiting Committee members.
Coordinates all logistics in connection with Summer Program and On Campus Interviewing:
Summer Program logistics to include planning orientation, practice group and department overviews, and events; soliciting work; and serving as a liaison for summer associates.
On Campus Interviewing logistics to include scheduling attorneys to go on campus, preparing callback goals, scheduling callback interviews, and coordinator and tracking follow-up with candidates.
Serves as administrative support to the Recruiting Committee and other management committees as needed.
Helps manage long term hiring goals with the Recruiting Committee and Office Leadership.
Assists with special projects on various issues as needed.
Prepares and maintains recruitment statistics and reports.
Promotes effective work practices, works as a team member, and shows respect for co-workers.
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Recruiting Coordinator must have well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm, ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus, a high school diploma or equivalent, (Bachelor's degree preferred), and two (2) to three (3) years of Recruiting Coordinator experience in a legal or professional services environment.
