Summary of Position:
Preparation and filing a full range of nonimmigrant petitions, including H-1B, L-1, E-2, E-3, TN etc. Compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation. Maintains direct contact with multiple attorneys.
These are the essential functions of the position. Successful job applicants will be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodations:
Independently prepares documents to assist attorneys with matters
Review complex legal documents
Compile and analyze case facts
Determine and calendar deadlines
Communicate with clients and visa beneficiaries
Paralegal certification / degree from accredited college or university.
Two - four years of paralegal experience, preferably working in a high volume business immigration practice.
Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; VisaTrax/Zoom and Document Management System
Must be willing to commit to additional hours when necessary to reach Firm objectives.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to manage numerous projects/tasks, sometimes heavy caseloads.
