Part-Time Faculty - Legal Interviewing and Counseling (2018)

The adjunct professor will teach our 3-credit course on Legal Interviewing and Counseling in the fall and/or possibly spring semester. This course teaches practical skills through the use of simulations and experiential exercises.. Through interactive discussion and simulations, the class covers the basics of interviewing; attorney-client communication skills; identification of client’s legal needs and objectives; and client decision making (including the evaluation of options and the weighing of consequences).
