Manages a division encompassing one or more separate operations in a geographical area. The Division Manager will oversee the operations of assigned division and will focus on promoting the company brand and identifying new opportunities that will increase business activities that will lead to increased profitability. The Division Manager will lead in identifying and recruiting new escrow personnel including opening new offices. The Division Manager directly supervises a varying number of associates providing title and escrow services and sales and marketing associates to solicit customers that ultimately will increase market share.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
Within an assigned division, manages both a direct operation, providing title, escrow, and related services to maximize productivity and profitability of the agency operation.
Accountable for the quality and competency of the services provided by both direct and indirect operations within assigned division to develop and maintain business and promote a favorable company image within the assigned geographical region.
Regularly analyzes gathered data and information against budgeted goals and objectives, and implements appropriate corrective action.
Plans, develops and participates in marketing programs to enhance the competitive position and to maximize market penetration.
Attends client and business development functions. Represents company in public, customer and community relations activities. Attends client luncheons, dinners, realty board meetings and company tours, makes speeches and presents prepared educational programs to client and other interested groups.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES OR TRAINING:
Previous experience in real estate related field is required
Previous experience in direct sales and management required.
Knowledge of management and sales and marketing principals is required.
Customer service skills.
Basic real property law as applies to title and escrow in the state where they are located.
Terminology and documents related to title and escrow.
Technique in preparing reports and correspondence.
In depth knowledge and understanding of the real estate business is desirable.
Assigning, directing and reviewing the work of others.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong public speaking and/or teaching skills
Clear, concise and effective oral and written communication skills.
Good inter-personal skills.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work, including real estate agents, escrow officers, attorneys and others.
Proficient computer skills including operating common and/or specialized software related to title and escrow.
Maintaining accuracy, high productivity, and meeting urgent, fixed deadlines.
Identifying and resolving client-service needs and problems.
Ability to recruit, train and manage all levels and positions needed to operate the division.
Ability to measure success and analyze areas needing improvement of all the associates in the division.
Ability to communicate objectives and otherwise influence the cooperative efforts of others, both within and beyond direct lines of authority, in achieving business objectives.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Valid Drivers License in good standing in State assigned to work
Any required state licensing and certification
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Division Manager to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
