Candidates will have the following responsibilities:
Communicates with attorneys and staff regarding lawyer mobility records issues (i.e., client file transfers for active and inactive electronic client records).
Handles the intake of electronic documents and emails for lateral attorneys including uploading such materials into the DMS and other approved repositories.
Transfers electronic documents and emails, including downloading such materials from the DMS.
Coordinates the transfer of print records with the team.
Assist in the development of records retention procedures.
Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding records retention issues and coordinates records retention activities per policy and procedures.
Coordinates the destruction of print records.
Coordinates approval process for electronic root folders.
Coordinates the management and disposition of data on file shares and in Outlook.
Reviews requests for new print folders to assure compliance with records standards.
Responsible for data entry, data analysis, implementation of legal holds, facilities document collection/production/destruction related to court orders and security of documents per various regulated provisions.
Responds to questions, comments and/or concerns pertaining to the R&IG Department’s policies and procedures relating to the management of data, lawyer mobility, retention, and standards.
Assists in the development of training, procedure manuals and guidelines.
Acts as a liaison between attorneys, paralegals, LPA’s, administration, as well as other Records & IG staff to ensure that comprehensive department services are equitably, promptly, and efficiently provided.

All other duties as assigned or required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, as well as previous experience in a large multi-office law firm.
3+ years records and information governance, IT, project management or relatable experience, or a combination of the previously mentioned experience.
Available to work overtime, as required.
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, LegalKEY and other Firm and department applications.
Previous experience with complex electronic records management system and other applicable systems. Prefer candidates to have experience in coordinating the implementation of new technologies.
Proficient in Windows technology. Knowledge of SQL programming or other transferable coding experience is preferred.
