We are currently seeking a Director of Records to join our team in our Columbus location. Reporting directly to the CIO and as a member of the Operations Team, this position directs and overseas Conflicts, Docketing and Records Management. Responsibilities include matter/file opening & closing, preparation for offsite storage of files, interaction with offsite file storage vendor(s), records retention and disposition processes, iManage (document management system) administration of new matter folder creation, security management, file imports and exports- electronic and physical and responding to discovery and investigation requests.
Knowledge of core legal systems and processes including matter management, document management, and knowledge management preferred. Candidates must be familiar with legal concepts, practices, and procedures and rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must be willing to travel to other offices and accommodate vendor schedules.
