This is a firm-wide position assisting the Director of Attorney Recruiting and the Manager of Attorney recruiting in all aspects of student, lateral associate and partner hiring. Assist with planning and executing firm-wide summer associate program.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist Legal Recruiting staff with all aspects of lateral partner, lateral associate and law student recruiting, including interview scheduling, candidate follow-up and tracking
Assist in developing plans for early identification of qualified student candidates including development of campus programming and participation in various campus and diversity events
Identification of and participation in diversity pipeline opportunities
Assist with planning of and attend summer associate social events as needed
Liaise with marketing department in the preparation of collateral recruiting material, the enhancement of social media presence and website content
Communicate with vendors and legal recruiters as necessary
Develop, analyze and present key recruiting data information obtained from firm data and outside sources
Qualifications & Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have:
2+ years of law firm or professional service industry experience. Recruiting experience is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong initiative and motivation to be creative
Ability to work collaboratively with recruiting team, attorneys and outside vendors
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, knowledge of all Microsoft office products is a plus.
Ability to work after hours
Ability to travel to various offices and law school campuses as needed
