Seyfarth Shaw’s Washington, DC office is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate with 4-6 years of commercial transactional real estate experience. The successful candidate will have significant experience in the following: (i) drafting and negotiating documents in connection with the disposition, acquisition, development, and finance (primarily senior financing but mezzanine financing a plus) of commercial real estate, (ii) negotiating and drafting primarily office related leases whether for landlords or tenants, with retail and industrial lease experience a plus, (iii) analyzing title and survey and addressing due diligence issues, and (iv) handling the settlement process. Candidates should be interested in a broad exposure to commercial real estate matters. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills required.
