The fund-linked products team offers complex financing products to major hedge fund, private equity fund and fund-of-fund counterparties
This is a transactional role, focused on drafting and negotiating secured credit agreements, collateral documentation, control agreements, and ancillary documents for financing transactions collateralized by hedge fund portfolios, private equity fund portfolios, or fund investor uncalled capital commitments
The role offers opportunity to run certain transactions entirely in-house and manage outside counsel on other transactions
Our legal team works in a collaborative manner with support from a dedicated document support team
Our office has an open plan working environment, with the opportunity to work from home available within firm guidelines
Credit Suisse maintains a Working Flexibility Policy, subject to the terms as set forth in the Credit Suisse United States Employment Handbook.
Minimum of 3 years' experience at a law firm and/or investment bank
Expertise in secured financing transactions collateralized by hedge funds or private equity fund portfolios and/or subscription facilities
Familiarity with fund formation, management, operation, administration and custody
Ability to successfully handle multiple complex projects with tight deadlines
Creative, analytical approach to drafting challenging deal documents and negotiating with counsel for sophisticated counterparties
