The Law Offices of Matthew H. Green is a seven-attorney immigration law firm, located in Tucson, Arizona. Our firm strives to provide the highest quality immigration services to our clients—and we have developed a top reputation for taking on challenging and complex cases, and getting results.
We are recruiting for one or more attorney positions. Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Any attorney who is motivated to work in deportation defense will be considered, even if they have not previously worked in immigration law. Applicants who can demonstrate experience practicing removal defense before the Executive Office for Immigration Review are preferred. Attorneys working for our firm will handle cases both in non-detained and detained settings, appearing in Tucson, Phoenix, Eloy (detained), and Florence (detained) immigration courts.
Additionally, attorneys working in this role will be expected to challenge our clients' charges of deportabiltiy, and litigate various forms of relief in removal proceedings (including asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, and waivers). Our lawyers also have a reputation for aggressively advocating for our foreign-born clients' release on bond, and substantial commitment to detention work should be expected.
Strong research and writing skills are necessary, as our attorneys handle appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Our associates are also given an opportunity to litigate civil actions on behalf of our clients, in the U.S. District Courts.
