Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts (primarily research and procurement contracts) under Senior Counsel or Assistant Counsel supervision and ensure compliance with College policies and procedures
Assist with research compliance issues
Proactively identifying potential legal risks and liabilities and solutions
Assisting with completing necessary legal work within the bounds of legal and ethical rules
Assists attorneys with legal research and preparation for internal hearings
Gathers and reviews documents. Uses appropriate technology to prepare documents for production in response to records requests made pursuant to state and federal law or in connection with litigation
Remain current with regulatory topics and best practices regarding compliance within higher education
Completes projects as assigned by Senior Counsel/Assistant Counsel which require general knowledge of legal principles pertaining to the subject matter.
