Orrick currently has an opportunity for a Temporary Attorney Recruiting Assistant in our newly opened Boston office.
What You Will Do:
You will work closely with our Director of Administration to help coordinate the associate hiring (OCI process and lateral hiring) and Summer Associate program for our 13-lawyer Boston office. For the summer program, responsibilities will include coordinating events and trainings in conjunction with our Recruiting Managers around the US as well as administering the mid-summer and end of summer review process. For the on-campus recruiting process, you will be responsible for handling the interviewer materials, utilizing our applicant tracking system to update candidate statuses and coordinating callback interviews within the Boston office.
You will also participate in the onboarding and off boarding processes of all attorneys in Boston. You will collaborate with the Lawyer Development Team on associate training events and initiatives, such as the Summer Associate Academy, New Associate Orientation, and New Associate Academy.
Your Additional Responsibilities:
You will coordinate interview processes, greet and escort candidates, gather and track information, conducts follow-up contact and correspondence.
You will organize interview materials and coordinate the evaluation collection and feedback process for summer program and lateral associates.
You will coordinate administrative tasks for the summer program (binders, face sheets, resume book, orientation packets, etc.).
Supports overall departmental needs with special projects.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are critical. Ability to organize/prioritize work while handling multiple projects and shifting responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters.
Ability to work independently when needed.
Performs as an outstanding teammate.
Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Word and Excel.
