Job Summary Description In an entry or lateral capacity, performs Police Officer duties, including but not limited to communicating information, dealing with critical and dangerous situations, safely driving in routine and emergency situations, affecting arrests, transporting arrestees, gathering information from victims, witnesses and suspects, handling firearms with proficiency and safety, working a rotating shift.

Minimum requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
At least 21 years of age at time of appointment
U.S. Citizen or proper I-9 documentation

Other than drug offenses, no commission of any felony, convicted or not, after the age of 17
Must possess a valid driver’s license
