Senior Counsel, Enterprise Partnerships
Mastercard is seeking an experienced attorney to provide comprehensive legal support to the Enterprise Partnerships (EP) team. EP is a global team tasked with forging powerful connections across non-traditional industries to drive efficiencies, enhance trust, and unlock value.
While leveraging Mastercard's core assets, the team strives to reimagine how global businesses, government, and consumers interact by: otransforming the way businesses engage with each other; omaking cities more inclusive with data insights; opioneering digital payments to reduce traveler friction; opartnering with global companies to advance sustainable communities.

The Senior Counsel will report directly to the Senior Vice President & Counsel, Enterprise Partnerships, located in Purchase, NY.
Serve as a day to day strategic, legal advisor and provide responsive, creative, and commercially-minded solutions.
Structure, draft, and negotiate various complex legal agreements (including framework agreements, technology agreements, and customer agreements) with a diverse set of partners.
Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and region or country teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to relevant intellectual property, regulatory, compliance, data privacy, and local law considerations.
Monitor and evaluate relevant industry, legal, and regulatory trends in technology and payments, affecting the operation and activities of digital payments and block chain, cloud services, etc.
Assist in creation of and maintenance of training materials to advance business objectives and process improvement. All About You
Experience in complex transactional matters, including strong background in M&A, intellectual property, data protection and/or other technology related legal matters at a reputable law firm and/or in-house.
Entrepreneurial spirit and approach, able to embrace calculated risk, and solve for ambiguity.
Must have a strategic and agile mindset and be able to effectively advise senior management.
Must be thorough and detail-oriented, able to prioritize, and juggle multiple projects and demands.
Is a team player who is both organizationally savvy and a strong communicator, able to collaborate cross-functionally and across regions.
A Juris Doctorate degree and admitted to bar and in good standing.
