Rosché Immigration Law PLLC is a growing immigration law firm in Seattle, handling a broad range of immigration cases and committed to the zealous advocacy of the rights of immigrants in the US. We seek a part-time legal assistant to work in both business and family immigration. This is a flexible position with the possibility of up to 50% remote work.
Legal Assistant would assist attorney in working with clients to file immigration petitions and engage in litigation against US government agencies. This position requires direct interaction with clients in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate shares the mission of the firm to protect the rights of immigrants while also being detail oriented, organized, and able to both give and take direction. While candidates with experience in immigration law are encouraged to apply, those without experience but with a demonstrated desire to advance the cause of immigrants will be considered. All applicants must be fluent in Spanish.
Assist clients with preparation of forms and collection of supporting documents
Maintain client correspondence in English and Spanish
Prepare applications for immigration benefits
Draft legal complaints against US government agencies
Conduct legal and factual research
Track filings and deadlines
Act as liaison between clients, attorney, and various government agencies
Maintain client files in electronic database and physical archive
Scan and log incoming and outgoing mail

Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in any field or 3+ years experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in any field
