Seeking an experienced full-time paralegal for a busy Central Phoenix law office. Ideally, the applicant should possess several years of probate litigation experience. The successful applicant will work in close collaboration with an experienced Probate and Estate Planning attorney in both litigated and administrative matters. Qualified applicants must know, understand, and be able to practically apply the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure and/or the Arizona Rules of Probate Procedure in litigation. Applicants must be capable of taking initiative and working independently with direct responsibility for the management of their own caseload. Applicants must be pleasant and able to interact and communicate effectively with co-workers, clients, and court staff. The ability of the applicant to prioritize, manage, and record his/her time and to accurately docket both court filings and hearings is essential. Successful applicants will have high level college graduate writing skills and should be familiar with the drafting and filing of notices, orders, subpoenas, and other legal documents. Additionally, applicants should be comfortable, experienced, and competent in the organization and management of documents and discovery.
