Provide legal support for various derivatives businesses with a principle focus on derivatives sales, trading and structuring.
Coverage of a diverse product range, including (i) credit derivatives, (ii) total return swaps, (iii) repurchase transactions, (iv) deal contingent FX forwards, (v) longevity products and (vi) loan related transactions.
The role involves structuring, drafting and negotiation of legal documentation for structured transactions and advising on legal, regulatory and reputational issues arising from the structuring, execution, amendment, novation and termination of fixed income derivative transactions.
Coordinating assessment, explanation, application and implementation of regulatory and industry developments relating to covered businesses, including LIBOR replacement, margin on uncleared swaps, mandatory clearing, swap execution facility rule amendments, securities based swap regulatory regime, etc.

Juris Doctorate and member of the Bar of the State of New York
5-10 years of relevant experience as an attorney including 2-3 years of financial services legal experience in law firm
Experience with cleared and OTC fixed income derivatives and US and European regulations related thereto, including but not limited to Dodd-Frank and EMIR
Strong working knowledge of ISDA Master Agreements and credit support documentation with experience drafting bespoke confirmation documentation
Structured finance experience
Knowledge of emerging markets
