Duane Morris LLP, a law firm with 800+ attorneys in offices across the U.S. and internationally, has an exciting opportunity for a Practice Support Project Manager to join its Philadelphia team. This position will support the Firm in all aspects of Practice Support functions as well as our Trial practice group with on-site trial support. This position will cover the 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST shift. Responsible for supporting the design, development and maintenance of litigation support systems and related databases to support legal teams on all phases of E-Discovery including Forensics and Analytical programming and will also be responsible for supporting the design, development and support for on-site trial consulting. Provide guidance and strategize with legal teams to determine database and other requirements for litigation support technology and workflow processes on a case-by-case basis. Diagnose and correct related system errors and problems; consult with internal/external support for resolution on an as needed basis.
Bachelors' degree or an equivalent number of combined years of education/experience required. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm/legal department and/or service provider managing projects, developing databases, managing conversion of electronic evidence and overseeing project budgets. Must have knowledge of electronic discovery, file conversions and database design and maintenance. Strong experience with using various databases, working in a network environment, as well as evidence issues as they relate to technology. Must be proficient in Relativity (end to end), TextMap, CaseMap, Trial Director LAW as well as Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Paint Shop Pro (or similar) and text editors. Must be able to travel for trial appearances.
