This position will be primarily responsible for coordinating MLPD programs. This position is part of our Attorney Development team and will report to the Manager of Attorney Training.
Coordinating training program logistics including room reservations, room set-up, technology, food orders, and trouble shooting.
Serving as the liaison to contacts in other offices and relevant departments to implement professional development programs firm wide and ensure high-quality programming.
Creating program advertisements and serving as a main communication contact for program attendees. Proofreading all communications with attention to detail and accuracy.
Documenting training programs by organizing program files, generating sign-in sheets and sending evaluations, creating certificates of attendance, assembling materials for training sessions, and analyzing participant evaluation data.
Ensuring completion and timely delivery of materials, program documents, and Certificates of Attendance for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs for clients and targets.
Maintaining the MintzPort Professional Development site, the Learning Management System, the OnDemand library.
Interacting directly with vendors to procure training materials and understand logistical needs.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of CLE regulations for all relevant jurisdictions. Reviewing course content for eligibility. Compiling data for the annual accreditation process in jurisdictions where Mintz is an Accredited Provider.
Maintaining a high-level of professionalism and client service in all interpersonal interactions;
Keeping abreast of professional development trends for attorneys;
Other projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in a law firm or professional services organization preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
Comfortable making announcements in front of a diverse range of audiences.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with the viDesktop suite is preferred but not required.
