Husch Blackwell, a full service law firm, has an immediate opening in its Chicago office for an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have law firm experience with all phases of complex intellectual property litigation including, but not limited to, writing opinions regarding patent validity and infringement, experience conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, working with experts, trial preparation and communication with clients. Experience with IP litigation and/or USPTO post-grant review is required. ANDA experience is preferred, but not required.
The candidate must have an excellent academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
Candidates should have an Illinois bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
