Due to rapid expansion and growth, our Recruiting & Retention department has the opportunity for an experienced Legal Recruiter to join the firm’s growing immigration practice group. This person will be based out of our Raleigh, North Carolina office but will also support immigration recruiting efforts in Atlanta, Austin, and Washington DC. The Legal Recruiter will be responsible for the recruitment of business based immigration attorneys and staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; submitting staffing requisitions based on office hiring needs, creating and posting job ads on the Firm website and corresponding job boards, testing candidates, sourcing and cold calling candidates, occasionally attending and coordinating participation in career fairs, tracking and reporting recruiting data, phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews, checking references, extending offers, and also supporting the Summer Associate program in their assigned immigration offices. Travel for occasional team-based events to Indianapolis, Indiana or Greenville, South Carolina will be required of the Legal Recruiter. Additional travel to Atlanta, Austin, Washington DC and other immigration offices may be necessary. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a very fast paced work environment.

Maintain relationships with Office Administrators and Immigration Practice Group leaders, keeping them informed and within all Firm guidelines and protocols when it comes to recruiting for open positions
Collaborate with Human Resources, ensuring consistent execution of common strategies
Coordinate recruiting features of the firm’s website careers pages, as well as the firm’s use of social media for recruiting purposes
Communicate with applicants and provide a positive candidate experience
Develop relationships with local university and law school career service centers
Attend local career fairs
Work with local headhunters and staffing agencies and temp recruiting and direct placements as necessary
Immigration Attorney and Support Staff Recruiting
Screen Applications – Screen (via phone interviews and candidate testing) and send qualified candidates to the corresponding Immigration Practice Group Leaders or Office Administrators as appropriate
Coordinate and track external search firm activities, including working with headhunters to find hard to fill positions and working with temp agencies to fill our temporary positions
Utilize Firm’s leased attorney database to source passive candidates, cold call them as appropriate or send them messages on LinkedIn Recruiter
Conduct exit surveys and interviews for immigration attorneys and staff in their assigned region
Summer Associate Recruiting
Must maintain and track accurate reports of exit information, candidate application flow, source of new hires, resume counts, and another recruiting related activity
Assist Director of Recruiting & Retention and the team with miscellaneous projects as assigned
Work within LawCruit or current ATS daily to screen, respond and organize candidates
Bachelor’s Degree required
5+ years of fast paced recruiting experience required
Experience recruiting in the legal or professional services industry is preferred
Experience with immigration recruiting is a plus
Experience working with LawCruit or similar ATS
Having some HR experience or educational background is preferred
Past experience with posting jobs on different job boards
Must possess the ability to thrive under a fast paced working environment
Social Media Savvy

Communication skills – listens well and gets clarification, follows up appropriately, responds to inquiries and provides feedback in a timely manner
Assertive, confident and self-assured
Organized – able to juggle and prioritize several pressing projects at the same time
