Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Western United States, is currently looking to fill a Senior Audio-Visual Technician. This position oversees the daily management, implementation, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs of the Firm’s audio/visual systems in eight US offices and one Mexico office. The Technician is responsible for supporting and troubleshooting all audio/video systems, including Lifesize video conferencing, ClickShare, Crestron, mobile display carts, microphones, audio processors, and receivers. This role works closely with attorneys, vendors, and the IT departments for Audio Video projects.
Customer Service and communications are critical components of the position. The Technician is expected to exceed the expectations and needs of the Firm’s customers. Maintain a positive relationship through effective communication. Meet with customers to ensure that their needs are meet and the equipment setup is working properly. Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the meeting or day.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills required
Must possess superb customer service and strong communication skills
ability to creatively seek and implement innovative solutions
Must have ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of internal and external customers
Must have a high level of technical expertise and use exceptional judgment in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment promptly
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be on call that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Understanding of Microsoft Windows and networking required
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods of time; walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work with specialized hand tools for installation/repair and occasionally work in tightly confined spaces when needed.
Education and Experience
Some college, vocational or technical school
Five (5) years related audio/video support experience and an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
