Position Summary We are looking for a high caliber individual to help us take our recruitment function to the next level and be a best in class function. This candidate will have excellent client relationship management skills as well as outstanding professional presence. They will be responsible for leading strategy and creating strong connectivity within the team as well as their peers within the broader People Team. - Lead and manage the overall attorney recruiting effort – thinking creatively, strategically, commercially and competitively to meet our objectives of hiring top talent and recruiting for long-term strategic fit.
- Serve as the W&C relationship manager with key contacts at universities (i.e. careers services, placement offices, deans, faculties, student societies). Continually source and develop these relationships to ensure meaningful engagement and dialogue that is differentiated from our competitors.
- Own and lead the strategic and marketing initiatives for on-campus student engagement (e.g. social media and branding initiatives, marketing, events, emails, e-shots, advertisements etc.
- Project-manage and attend a suite of effective and impactful campus events (e.g. careers fairs, workshops, case studies, presentations etc.). Work with key stakeholders to ensure broad partner engagement and attendance at all events.
- Host and moderate campus events (including welcome remarks, recruitment overviews etc.); present at and run training events (including CV/ Interview workshops etc.); actively participate in networking and selling of brand message.
- Work with the Partners and Career Services to identify strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach these target recruits throughout the process.
- Lead the planning and execution of the on-campus interview season; track and manage candidates from application/ resume screening stage through callback interviews; manage and track all interview feedback; facilitate the meetings where offer decisions are made; follow up with candidates regarding final status.
- Monitor and drive the sell process for all candidates (summer and lateral) once an offer has been extended.
- End-to-end support and execution of Summer Associate recruitment pipeline programs, including writing and conducting reviews, helping to organize, and at times attending, various internal and external events. Supporting the Summer Associates’ engagement and transition throughout the process.
- Track and analyse results of Summer Associate class outcomes to create meaningful data for a better understanding of future success factors.
- Run focus groups and raise awareness of our brand where it relates to surveys.
- Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking.
- Build relationships with key internal recruiting contacts, such as Attorneys and HR, and partner with them on regional strategy/ business plans.
- Collaborate with the D&I team to create and implement a strong and focused diversity strategy.
- Manage all reporting, metrics, and data management, and be able to report data accurately in real time. With a strong eye for detail and an analytical mind-set, use data to tell the recruiting story, and demonstrate the ability to improve results year on year.
- Present data and trend analysis to key stakeholders. Use data to make and support strategic proposals, and modify regional and global core objectives as needed.
- Ensure a constant flow of consistent, on-brand information and ensure diligence in presenting the W&C EVP.
- Manage all on boarding programs, contract management, and bar admissions.
- Manage all data relating to ATS.
