Serves as a Blinn College District in-house attorney, and is responsible for the provision of legal services through the Executive Vice Chancellor and General Counsel to Blinn College, including assistance to the Chancellor, General Counsel, Trustees, Administrators, and Staff. Activities to include legal research, monitoring the District's compliance with constitutions, laws and regulations, reviewing and negotiating contracts, representing the College in EEOC and OCR proceedings, representing the College in judicial proceedings, working with external legal counsel when authorized, and other tasks in which legal services are provided.
