Under minimal supervision provides support to the Office of General Counsel and Purchasing Departments regarding contract review process. Directly supports Legal Contract Administrator on process improvement and provides administrative assistance. Position is responsible for working directly with the Purchasing Department to develop and implement process for Legal contract review. Provides additional paralegal and administrative support to in-house staff attorneys' with regard to contract preparation (drafting) and finalization.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education 1. Associate's degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program required. 2. Bachelor's degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program preferred. Experience 1. Five years contract experience in a legal or procurement setting required. 2. Contract management systems experience a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Knowledge of contract development and Colorado law. 2. Skilled in communicating professionally with a variety of people across a multitude of departments and maintaining high standards of organization. 3. Ability to manage databases and run reports. Computers and Technology 1. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel and Outlook. 2. Contract management software. Certificates, Licenses and Registration 1. Paralegal certificate preferred.
