Clyde & Co seeks an associate (Class of 2008 – 2012) to join our Directors & Officers and Financial Institutions insurance coverage team in the Los Angeles office. The position involves representation of Domestic, London market, and International insurers with respect to litigation management, alternative dispute resolution, and coverage litigation in connection with D&O, financial institution, and other types of insurance.
Candidates should be comfortable with a varied caseload, possess exceptional attention to detail and be conversant with the financial markets. This position is well-suited for candidates that enjoy reading The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The New York Times business section, or other financial media. In addition, candidates should have the following:
3 years of insurance coverage experience
Professional liability experience
Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent academic credentials
CA Bar required
