Our Customer Account Management team focuses on the customer and strives for operational excellence in servicing home mortgage loans and home equity products for our customers.
The Wells Fargo Payoff and Reinstatement Team is responsible for providing superior service to our customers, investors and agencies through the completion of foreclosure reinstatement and payoff quotes for mortgage and equity loans.
This position is responsible for reviewing, researching, processing moderate to complex home mortgage and home equity payoffs and reinstatement requests, phone inquiries from customers, title companies, attorneys, vendors, and internal personnel pertaining to loans and various areas of within loan servicing.
Functions include: monitor shared mailboxes and GEM queues, manually provide Payoff, Foreclosure Payoff and Foreclosure reinstatement quotes for both Home Equity and Home Mortgage portfolios, works closely with Foreclosure Specialized Quote team, Foreclosure Call Center Team, Foreclosure and Bankruptcy attorneys, Litigation Team and Reinstatement and Payoff /Quotes Teams.
Other Responsibilities include process payoffs, demands and payment requests; payment and invoice research; preparing loan reconciliations; researching discrepancies in quotes and billing as it pertains to attorney fees and costs; Input data and process information into the system of record; may perform funds wiring and disbursement process, and processing of payoff and reinstatement funds. Responsible for complex payoff processing, and cash managed loans. May provide work direction and training to other loan servicing team members as needed.
1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment demonstrated through work or military experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Proven experience as subject matter expert within a team or department

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
