Loan Servicing Specialist 3 for quotes processing is responsible for performing a variety of loan servicing tasks under the Home Lending department. Team member's primary function will be to provide quotes to performing and non-performing accounts. Functions include answering questions pertaining to all areas of loan servicing.
Generation of Quotes – Home Equity Quotes is responsible for providing payoff, paydown, or reinstatement quotes to internal and external customers for various portfolios.
Performing Quotes - Provide customers, authorized third parties, or internal departments payoff or paydown figures via fax or mail.
Default Quotes – Provide customers, authorized third parties, or internal departments payoff or reinstatement figures via fax, e-mail, image capture, or mail.
Restrictions– Cancelling or updating demand restrictions based on the customer's request.
Reviewing and processing various control reports
Responding to routine attorney or internal department inquiries and preparing quotes to department procedures
Assist with other areas of Remittance and Communications Operations functions as needed
Primary (what she/he does 60% of the time)
Research and resolve escalated quote questions and issues
Track and monitor inventory on an ongoing basis for compliance and reconcile discrepancies
Update tracking systems as necessary to ensure accurate production activities are captured and reported
Conduct trainings, complete audits and discuss stats with the LOB
Attend trainings (process related or company initiated) and pass assessments when applicable
Participate in company initiated activities
Assist in reports generation and analysis
Achieve / exceed the set productivity targets
Complete tasks within process specific TAT
Meet/exceed quality targets
Is supportive of the team and contributes to it in an individual capacity
Works with Team initiatives, Analyze practices and looks at improving process
Market Skills and Certifications
Completed at least 2nd year college without back subjects
Amenable to work during night shifts
Strongknowledge of windows & Excel - Using pivot, Vlookup, tracing formulas, etc
Manages basic information clearly in the written and oral form
Demonstratesgood command over English language
Detailoriented and able to multi-task to accomplish tasks effectively
Analyzescomplex data and make decisions for final reconciliation
