The manager will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the associate attorney recruitment function including: assisting with and providing support for lateral candidate recruitment and selection; assisting with on-boarding and integration for new attorneys and summer associates; overseeing the firm’s summer program and on-campus recruiting process. Responsibilities will include developing relationships throughout the firm with those responsible for the ongoing hiring needs of the practice groups in which assigned. The manager will coordinate and manage the entire recruiting process from job posting through on boarding.
In addition, the manager will plan and implement the Firms’ summer associate program working with the Recruiting Committee and others involved to ensure a successful summer program as well as working collaboratively implementing the Firm’s annual student recruiting activities and on campus recruiting process, including summer associate diversity initiatives. Responsibilities also include assisting with various ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
o Seven plus years’ experience recruiting in a professional services environment (law firm preferred)
o Two plus years of management experience
o Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
o Ability to establish priorities and remain flexible
o Proactive, strategic thinker with acute attention to detail
o Must be self-driven and able to work as a team player
