Do you have a background in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of application software? If so, the Columbia office of Nelson Mullins law firm is seeking an Applications Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join the Information Technology Department.
A Day in the Life
The Applications Analyst will work with a team to support the firm’s 25 offices in installing, configuring, and testing a variety of client, server, and web-based applications. You will work with vendors and end users to configure, troubleshoot and research, in addition to working with other technology staff to test and deploy applications, updates and patches. The Applications Analyst will manage deployment schedules to minimize interruption to work productivity and work to resolve escalated application issues. You will document problem resolutions and troubleshoot technical issues relating to the firm’s practice support tools.

We Know You
You know how to handle hardware and software configuration along with troubleshooting. You have a strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. And, you work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment. A willingness to be available during business off-hours and participate in rotational on-call for the team is important, in addition to having flexibility to work extended hours on short notice.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Two to five years of application support experience in a legal environment.
