The Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation (CHLPI) advocates for legal, regulatory, and policy reforms to improve the health of underserved populations. Our work on behalf of low-income people focuses on improving access to high quality health care, reducing health disparities, and promoting more equitable and effective health care and public health systems. J.D., admission to a state bar, and five or more years of related experience.
We are looking for people who have:
A track record of working in the public interest preferred.
Background in racial justice work; experience in the fields of public health, health law, and/or community organizing and outreach preferred.
An interest in working with clients, colleagues, and students of diverse backgrounds.
The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Effective research and analytical skills, and a strong ability to convey information orally and in writing.
