Provides critical support, as a member of the Kramer Levin Professional Development team, for attorney training and development and the firm’s attorney-staffing processes and pro bono program.
Supports the Professional Development team by gathering, organizing, and disseminating information related to the firm’s performance-evaluation, on-boarding / integration, and training initiatives; synthesizes data in response to external surveys and other requests; assists with viEval administration.
Assists with the day-to-day data entry and administration of the “Kramer Levin University” training portal, including editing, organizing, and uploading content; assists with coordinating in-house Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, tracking firm lawyers’ CLE–compliance and admissions status, maintaining CLE–related records, and firm’s accredited provider status; processes expense approvals; and various other administrative duties.
Collaborates with members of the Professional Development team to assist with the implementation of the firm’s mentoring programs and organization of morale-building events.
Assists with the administration of the firm’s extensive pro bono initiatives, including risk and database management, event and clinic coordination, and other projects as assigned.
Works on other Professional Development and pro bono initiatives and projects as assigned.
Must be a motivated self-starter and a thoughtful, creative, resourceful, and resilient problem-solver with an interest in lawyer development, training, and pro bono, and the ability to demonstrate sensitivity to (and good judgment in connection with) confidential attorney and firm matters.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as a team player.
Established project-management, execution, and organizational skills and the ability to perform detailed work accurately, thoroughly, and consistently.
Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience, preferably in a large law firm environment, required.
Technical and computer skills necessary; viEval, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel ability a plus.
