Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Senior Director of Lawyer & Consultant Recruiting residing in Minneapolis, downtown Indianapolis, Chicago, Denver, Philadelphia, Washington DC or New York City. You will lead a dynamic team dedicated to firm-wide recruiting of partners, principals, lawyers, law students and consulting professionals. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients. What you would do in this job:
• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract, recruit and onboard top legal talent, utilizing both traditional and innovative sources to create a pipeline of qualified candidates with a focus on diverse talent. • Advise firm leadership and overall partnership regarding lateral partner and counsel recruiting matters. • Work with firm leaders to assess and identify the current and future talent requirements and needs of all practice groups across the firm. • Direct all processes around lateral partner and counsel recruiting. • Take a leading role in designing and overseeing the firm’s summer program recruitment process. • Collaborate with firm leaders and operations groups on the creation and implementation of a best-in-class partner integration program. • Own the group’s budget for effective and fiscally sound candidate sourcing plans. • Assess and report on market trends, recruiting opportunities and firm recruiting performance.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or JD preferred. • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in law firm recruiting. • Experience leading lawyer recruiting programs. • Experience managing teams across multiple locations. • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience working with lawyer recruiting databases with CRMs. • Ability to travel to all Faegre Drinker offices on a routine basis.
