Established boutique immigration law firm of 15 years seeks a full-time Paralegal with experience in employment-based immigration matters to join our growing team. Responsibilities -Draft forms for employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B visas, PERM cases, and I-140 petitions. -Support attorneys through the organization of documents, the monitoring of deadlines, and the management of checklists. -Draft complex, lengthy written documents in support of immigrant and nonimmigrant employment-based matters (such as support letters for H-1Bs, O-1s, and National Interest Waivers). -Maintain up-to-date and accurate case information in the firm's case management system (BlueDot). -Provide exceptional customer service when assisting firm clients (both employers and employees). -Provide ongoing updates to attorneys and clients regarding the status of cases. -Research, analyze, and apply regulations and procedures (from USCIS, the DOS, and the DOL) for employment-based immigration matters. -Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. -Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and assist with setting appointments. -Other duties, as assigned. Requirements -At least two (2) years of experience in employment-based immigration matters (such as H-1B visas, PERM cases, and I-140 petitions). -Only candidates who possess the skills of extreme organization, attention to detail, and outstanding written and verbal communication will be considered. -Self-starter with a strong work ethic. -Must be able to juggle multiple tasks at once with accuracy. -Excellent analytical skills. -Proficiency in a second language is preferred. -Dedicated interest in working in the field of immigration and in reaching client goals.
