Pay Grade/Pay Range: 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 34424.04 Midpoint - $ 50252.76 Department/Organization: 510201 - Land Management/Minerals Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary: This Coordinator of University Lands coordinates the day to day operation of University Lands, Planning, Design and Management. Additional Department Summary: The Coordinator University Lands supports University Lands and Real Estate Services in the management of all University-owned properties and provides independent commercial property management to maximize revenue of portfolio property. The position is expected to perform a variety of complicated tasks, therefore an expansive degree of creativity and latitude is required. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of commercial real estate, title, or legal office experience; Associate's degree and three (3) years of commercial real estate, title, or legal office experience; OR High School Diploma and six (6) years of commercial real estate, title, or legal office experience. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have U.S. driver's license, Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier. Skills and Knowledge: This position requires expansive analysis and comprehension of commercial leases and related documentation. Ability to analyze property financial status, occupancy lease renewal options, and contract documents to protect owner liability. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to interface directly with tenants, landlords, brokers, attorneys, and consultants where UA is the lessor and lessee. The candidate should possess the skills necessary to prepare and evaluate legal documents as well as arrange contracts for maintenance, landscaping, parking attendants, and trash removal. Decision making skills must be utilized to allocate CAM expenses and appropriately budget based on lease language. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively and accurately relay this information to tenants or landlords. This candidate will need independent decision making skills to resolve property complaints, manage aging balances, and resolve rent disputes. Must be highly proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe PDF, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. On-call and after hour work will be needed during certain projects such as Athletic events and Board of Trustee submittal preparation. Preferred Qualifications: Paralegal license or experience preferred. Lease Accounting software experience preferred. Experience with Concur and UA accounting procedures preferred.
