participate in contract drafting, review and negotiations.
develop and enhance legal research and writing skills (with an emphasis on intellectual property and technology related issues).

assist with managing litigation.
participate in due diligence exercises.
assist with any other legal matters handled by the S&P Global Corporate Legal Department/Business Division Legal Departments. When appropriate, Interns will be asked to attend meetings with various legal and business stakeholders.
Permanent work authorization for the United States is required.
Enrolled in a Juris Doctor program with a strong record of high academic achievement.
Ability to work remotely in a virtual environment.
Intellectual curiosity and detail oriented.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent research, writing and interpersonal communications skills.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to influence constituencies.
The ability to work in a deal-driven, collaborative work environment is required.
Experience with intellectual property or technology agreements is a plus.
