The Legal Solutions Architect (LSA) will anticipate, identify and implement innovative legal technology solutions. ?
On any given day, as a Legal Solutions Architect you will be responsible for tightly lacing an understanding of the practice of law with technology, knowledge management, business analysis, process improvement and project management, this role provides solutions that enhance the client experience. You will:
Partner with clients, Seyfarth Shaw attorneys and other team members to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of specific legal engagements
Learn independently, quickly master technology platforms and able to deliver a high degree of customer service
Translate stated and inferred needs of clients and attorneys into specific technology solutions
Design data-driven communications in a variety of formats (e.g. static reports, interactive dashboards) that effectively support decisions and drive actions
Master third-party software applications/development platforms and act as subject matter expert and main point of contact for those tools
Conduct market, external and internal research and convey results to forward assigned projects and to aid projects led by teammates, other groups and other departments
Manage multiple projects concurrently, juggling priorities, deadlines and essential duties for each project
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, computer science or other technical discipline
Juris Doctor or MBA with legal industry experience strongly preferred
2+ years of experience in an analogous industry or role; Experience working in a law firm preferred but not required
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative in order to deliver high levels of customer service
Passion for legal technology, including technical platforms and their impact on the practice of law
Ability to work both independently and in diverse teams with minimal supervision
Familiarity with extranets, document automation, and no-code/low-code application development platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to distill complex concepts into simple messages across multiple teams and leadership
Displays strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
