Due to rapid expansion and growth, our Recruiting & Retention department has the opportunity for an experienced Legal Recruiter to join the firm’s growing team. This position is in our Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, Washington, DC, and Raleigh, NC offices. The Legal Recruiter will be responsible for the recruitment of attorneys and staff across several practice areas but with a focus in business immigration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; submitting staffing requisitions based on office hiring needs, creating and posting job ads on the Firm website and corresponding job boards, testing candidates, sourcing and cold calling candidates, phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews, checking references, extending offers, and additional miscellaneous tasks/projects as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a very fast-paced work environment and will have a team mindset.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
3+ years of fast paced recruiting experience required.
Experience recruiting in the legal or professional services industry is preferred.
Experience with immigration recruiting is a plus.
Experience working with an applicant tracking system.
Previous HR experience or HR education/certification is a plus.
Must possess the ability to thrive under a fast paced working environment.
Experience recruiting across social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
Communication skills – listens well and gets clarification, follows up appropriately, responds to inquiries and provides feedback in a timely manner.
Organized – able to prioritize multiple time sensitive projects.
Dependable – quickly becomes the ‘go-to’ person.
Professional oral and written communication skills are essential.
Positive and team-oriented mindset.

Maintain relationships with hiring teams and firm leadership, keeping them informed and within all Firm guidelines and protocols when it comes to recruiting for open positions.
Submit staffing requisitions and post job advertisements on a variety of job boards including social media such as LinkedIn.
Review candidate applications and perform phone interviews and skills testing.
Coordinate with hiring teams to schedule candidate interviews and collect feedback.
Source passive candidates, cold call them as appropriate, and/or send them messages on LinkedIn Recruiter.
Draft and/or extend offers to attorney and staff candidates.
Work with local headhunters and staffing agencies as necessary.
Conduct exit surveys/interviews for attorneys and staff.
Assist team with miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Maintain and track recruiting related activity.
Collaborate with local universities and law schools for student and alumni recruitment.
