The nationally-ranked Capital Markets practice group of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an associate with approximately three (3) to five (5) years of experience with sophisticated corporate finance transactions, including public and private securities offerings, whether as issuer’s or underwriters’ counsel, as well as general corporate and corporate governance matters.  The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, exceptional analytical and communication skills and a desire to be part of a team working on a diverse range of sophisticated transactional work. In particular, we seek a motivated candidate seeking a long-term opportunity to be part of a growing, dynamic group that is one of the country’s leading capital markets practices and known for its mentoring and collegial environment.  Candidates will have an opportunity to work on cutting edge transactions directly with partners, counsel and associates who are team oriented.  Excellent opportunity to work across offices with the firm’s leading industry groups – Energy, Financial Services, Real Estate Investment & Finance, and Retail and Consumer Products. Location can be in any of our domestic offices (Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Norfolk, Richmond, San Francisco, DC).  Hybrid remote working models considered, depending upon level of experience. Compensation package is competitive with top national law firms. Candidates must be (or commit to become) licensed in the jurisdiction to which they are applying.  Relocation package available.
