We have an exciting opportunity in our Talent Management Department for a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Coordinator/Senior Coordinator in our New York office. The Coordinator/Senior Coordinator plays an essential role on the front lines of our recruiting efforts working directly with the Firm’s Managing Partner and Chair Elect to support the firm’s lateral partner recruiting initiatives.
In this capacity, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator/Senior Coordinator will:
Have a passion for Talent and take an energetic approach to supporting the recruitment hiring process;
Prioritize partner candidate experience and be able to handle multi-tasking at different stages of the candidate pipeline to keep things organized;
Be service-oriented with an ability and desire to provide the best service;
Communicate with key stake holders and search firms about candidate status, obtaining additional information from the candidate and soliciting feedback;
Conduct research, prepare memos, correspondence, commitment letters, and background information;
Serve as point of contact for Conflicts, Business Development, Executive Administration and other key stakeholders as it relates to the lateral partner election and onboarding process;
Work beyond scheduled hours as required, including attendance at special events in the evenings and/or on weekends; Travel as needed for programs, activities and initiatives;
Assist with scheduling and follow-up of interviews; and
Handle additional related projects, as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree required;
At least 3+ years’ experience (required); Recruiting/Talent Acquisition related experience in the legal industry preferred;
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written communications;
Exceptional organizational and time management skills;
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information;
Ability to work in a collaborative and fast paced team environment;
Advanced proficiency in MS Word and document editing/comparison applications;
Fundamental proficiency in MS Outlook and web-based conference call/web-sharing applications;
Fundamental to Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and spreadsheet/database applications;
Fundamental to Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and presentation applications; and
Experience using an Applicant Tracking Software (preferred).
